The new Development Programme continues with the AgroFood and Tourism schemes

With the announcement of the schemes "Support for tourism investments" and "Agri-food - Primary production and processing of agricultural products - Fisheries" is expected in the next period to continue the new development law 4887/2022, according to the Ministry of Development and Investment. The curtain, however, opened with a considerable delay on the aid scheme "Manufacturing - Supply Chain", with the notice running until 31 October 2022.

The purpose of the 'Manufacturing - Supply Chain' scheme is to support investment projects in the manufacturing sector, other than the processing of agricultural products and investment projects in the supply chain sector, aimed at technological, production, administrative and organisational upgrading, as well as innovative and outward-looking development and growth.

The total budget of the scheme for the year 2022 amounts to EUR 150 million, of which EUR 75 million is for the tax exemption type of aid. The remaining EUR 75 million relates to the aid types of grant, leasing subsidy and subsidy for the cost of employment creation and comes from the Public Investment Budget of the Ministry of Development and Investment.
